I started this piece in 2020.
Each thin wood strip tells it's own individual story.

Entirely made from recycled old barnwood from The Canadian Laurentians🌲🌳

It feels good giving potential firewood a new life, and eventually a new home. 💙

A mix of cedar, pine, maple, oak, hickory, and walnut.

The seamless 45° angled framing is painted with two coats of black on pine wood and finish with a sprayed coat of subtle gloss.

Each wood strip is 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick and varies in length.

This art piece comes hand signed and dated in the back, along with a mounted Victorian Casted Metal Brass Plaque installed on the botton left
"HANDCRAFTED BY JOHNNY BLUE"

Mounting bracket and hanging accessories are also included.
