No veneer or plywood. Just substantial solid wood, a matching headboard and a strong pine mattress platform, designed for long-term use.

Solid timber construction

  • Locally sourced Québec solid pine, with 5 × 10-inch frame beams.
  • Timber-frame style joinery, reinforced with structural wood screws and sturdy, discreet hardware.
  • Solid pine tongue-and-groove mattress support boards included. Place your mattress directly on the platform; no box spring is required.
  • Matching headboard included, approximately 42 inches high from the floor to the top.
  • Approximately 10 inches of clearance beneath the frame. Mattress height depends on your mattress.

Choose from the same 35 Minwax® Wood Finish™ oil-based stain colours (yellow labels) offered for our pine sliding doors. Your selected stain and two coats of water-based varnish are included in the displayed price. Colour samples are a guide; natural grain, knots, pine preparation and lighting affect the final colour.

Simple assembly

Designed for straightforward assembly in approximately 10 minutes. The headboard, solid pine mattress support boards and assembly hardware are included. Mattress and bedding are not included.
